When i use to live in Cuba , i used to go every year to Varadero spend a couple of weeks,and since i left cuba i have gone 2 times back to Varadero, the nightlife is great, the hotels 5stars, the beach OHH MY GOD!! white as milk sand, crystal clear water, i could even see my feet under 5f of water, it is just paradise really, it is the perfect beach vacation destination......to tell you the truth , Varadero is not the best beach in Cuba, well it depends, beach wise even though its pretty tough to beat Varadero, Cayo Largo i think beats it because its a more underdeveloped beach and more virgin, but Varadero just overtakes any other beach with its atmosphere...If you want the nightlife and the bars and cafes and lots of tourists and lots of street vendors for suveniers like in El Copelia, and lets not forget a beach that rivals any in the world , Varadero is the place to be, its amazing....to me the best beach in the Caribbean... if the Castro regime falls, and Americans start coming to Varadero , bye bye to Cozumel and Bahamas, Cruises will only have one destination: VARADERO!!
