What a great place for a quick get-away! Especially in the winter. We like to go for the casinos (there are now two excellent casinos) and the fun tourist places on Clifton Hill. There are several very reasonably priced hotels with in a VERY SHORT walking distance of Casino Niagara and Clifton Hill. Clifton Hill is a fun street of restaurants and tourist attractions like museums, Ripley's Museum, adventure/fantasy rides and shows, haunted houses and arcade type games. At the top of Clifton Hill there are several very good restaurants as well (on Victoria Avenue). We have stayed at the Brockway (a very nice, old hotel with an indoor walk-way to the casino) and Michael's Inn - also very nice with an excellent restaurant on site.If you like to go to the Casinos (and there are plenty of other things to do if you don't!), then be sure to join the PAC club. With that you can book a hotel through the casino and get free breakfast for two and $20 cash at the casino. This can make the stay very inexpensive.
